TV Updates: A Gif Story

It's time to talk about all the exciting fall schedule news, brought to you by the fully renewed Happy Endings.

Community got picked up...

But is moving to Fridays.

30 Rock got renewed, for what may or may not be it's final season.  And only for 13 episodes.

Modern Family & Revenge obviously got full seasons.

Glee is moving to Thursday nights in attempt to kill The Office, 30 Rock, & Up All Night.

Mindy Kaling's show got picked up and is going to go after New Girl for a girly comedy block.

SVU is getting it's 14th season, but is moving to the 9 pm time slot (which means everything will have to be a wee bit toned down).

Another cycle of The Voice is happening, with new judges.  Because why not kill a good thing.

Whitney got renewed.  For a full 22 episodes.

Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 got a full season, which means 22 episodes of Beek in the Creek.

And don't forget that Chris Meloni will be on True Blood.

Overall, all the shows I watch and love got picked up so this is pretty much me:

There's lots of exciting new shows coming out so I can't wait!  NBC is doing pretty much all comedy so I think we'll have a good time.  PLUS I just really need to express how happy I am about Happy Endings.  Like really.

New Girl: Secrets

Due to the fact that NO ONE can keep a secret (well one, as it seems) everyone finds out about Schmidt and Cece and we're saved from the Joey knows about Monica and Chandler but no one else knows that he knows bit.  Which is win because seeing every one's reaction to finding it out is the best part and we got it right away.  Read the highlights from the episode after the jump.

Meet Blaine's Brother, Cooper (aka That Time I Watch Glee for Matt Bomer)

Here's a first look at Matt Bomer as Daren Criss' older brother, Cooper (his name is Cooper Anderson, presh!).  The episode will air on April 10th and they're going to singing a Duran Duran mashup.  Will someone please remind me to watch Glee that night?  K thanks.

THANK GOD. Last night the show addressed all the issues I've been having with it (remember that time Winston met the life-changing kid, Elvin, at Christmas?). So now I have absolutely no problems and it is perfect. Although Winston's girlfriend could be fixed. BUT THAT'S IT I PROMISE. Read the episode highlights after the jump.

I didn't think it would be possible to hold a flame to last week's episode, but the hipster-love-typewriters reference mayyy have done me in.  And Kate and I decided it's time to start a campaign to win Schmidt and Emmy.  Come on, it needs to happen.

There's two shows that leave me wishing they were hour longs each week, Happy Endings and New Girl. This week featured another guest spot from Lizzie Caplan and touched on Jess' ooooo-ness (scientific term). Read the episode highlights after the jump. 

In Mindy Kaling News...

I've always admired Mindy Kaling (she's a successful writer working in a dude dominated field), but ever since I read her book I've decided that we're friends.  She'll come to understand someday.

Anywho, the news.

She's nearing a deal with Fox to order a pilot.  She'll write and star in the show as a Bridget Jones-esque OB-GYN.  It would be PERFECT if Fox made this a comedy block with New Girl.  And Bridget Jones?  Say no more, I'm there.  The only sad news is this would prob mean Mindy would have to say good bye to The Office.  Booo

Last night on New Girl we saw the return of the Douchebag Jar, and it was wonderful. The jar was introduced in the pilot, but has been absent ever since.
