TV Updates: A Gif Story

It's time to talk about all the exciting fall schedule news, brought to you by the fully renewed Happy Endings.

Community got picked up...

But is moving to Fridays.

30 Rock got renewed, for what may or may not be it's final season.  And only for 13 episodes.

Modern Family & Revenge obviously got full seasons.

Glee is moving to Thursday nights in attempt to kill The Office, 30 Rock, & Up All Night.

Mindy Kaling's show got picked up and is going to go after New Girl for a girly comedy block.

SVU is getting it's 14th season, but is moving to the 9 pm time slot (which means everything will have to be a wee bit toned down).

Another cycle of The Voice is happening, with new judges.  Because why not kill a good thing.

Whitney got renewed.  For a full 22 episodes.

Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 got a full season, which means 22 episodes of Beek in the Creek.

And don't forget that Chris Meloni will be on True Blood.

Overall, all the shows I watch and love got picked up so this is pretty much me:

There's lots of exciting new shows coming out so I can't wait!  NBC is doing pretty much all comedy so I think we'll have a good time.  PLUS I just really need to express how happy I am about Happy Endings.  Like really.

ABC was not messing around last night. They said hey look, we've been on hiatus for a month, let's give these poor bastards a break and let them laugh. It was a fantastic episode that had me laughing the entire time. Read the highlights after the jump. 

Modern Family: Little Bo Bleep

Claire returned to politics in last night's Modern Family, and Lily couldn't stop saying "fuck."  Adorable!  Read the episode highlights after the page jump.

The Golden Globes (zzzzzzzzzzzzz)

Whew.  That was a fun night right? Oy.  Poor Ricky Gervais was so held back that he was making hard-hitting Kardashian marriage jokes.  And all the celebs who came out swinging against him just looked sad.  The really only good jab of the night was when Clooney walked out with Brad Pitt's cane.

E! did this weird thing where they had people send video messages from their phone while they were getting ready.  A little toooooo personal for my liking.  I don't need to see you in your shower.

But.  Hands down, this was the best part of the night:

Modern Family: Egg Drop

Poor Phil.  One week he's dying, the next week his family is over him and bails when he needs help and he's crouched in a corner doing his own intro.  This week we saw more competition from Cam & Mitchell, Phil literally put Gloria on a pedestal, and Manny team back up with Luke to get their projects done for them.  Read the highlights after the jump.

Last night was the return of Modern Family and, like How I Met Your Mother early in the week, it was a little eh. There were a lot of storylines going around and featured a guest appearance from Benjamin (hellloooo) Bratt as Manny's dad.  Highlights after the jump.
