If you asked my friends about my music listening habits they would tell you that I tend to find one song and murder it by playing it a million times in a row.  Annnnnd I just found my new victim, so get ready everyone who sees me on a regular basis.  This will be playing. A lot.

Rihanna has one of those voices that's so good for collaborations because she melts into whatever sound you put her in. If you heard this song on the Grammys and though UGH NO when you saw this, DO NOT judge it by Rihanna's mangled attempt at singing it live.

Ummm so yeah this is pretty phenom.  Whitney's voice about against Robyn's super sad "Dancing on My Own" is magic.

I'm Listening To: Tonight - John Legend

I am 100% biast in my love for John Legend but this song is SMMOOOOOOOTH and moral erasing.  Also.  How can you not love any song that gives you a LUDA right in the middle of it?

I'm Listening To: Trouble

Last night on The Voice a dude from the Mickey Mouse Club auditioned with "Trouble" by Ray LaMontagne and he reminded me how much I LOVE Ray LaMontagne.  He actually did a fantastic rendition of the song, and got each on of the judges to push the button (hey now).  Here's the original version of the song:

Close your eyes and pretend you are snuggling with someone in a log cabin with a fire burning and a blizzard outside and you are wrapped up in your best flannel pjs and everything is happy and warm.  Cozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy.

Me Time: Oh Amazon, You Know Me So Well

Amazon knows the way to my heart.  I love John Legend (LOVE), and his album Evolver would be my island album.*  I've had this ablum on steady repeat since it came out in 2008 (just realized how long ago that was).  If you've never listened to it, first shame, second get your ass a copy and thank me for your musical enjoyment.  After the jump, listen to my top three songs off the album.
