Ok. Let's Discuss 30 Rock Live. Because I Went.

So last night, in case you missed my posts, tweets, check-ins, and excited ramblings, I went to go see 30 Rock's live episode, from here on out know as: THAT TIME I WAS IN THE SAME ROOM AS JON HAMM.

I'm not even going to pretend to give you an unbiased look at the quality of the episode, because it's real hard to have been that close to Tina Fey and then give an objective opinion (SUCH a professional I am).

Everyone in the cast seemed so nice & excited to be there.  There was just a happy energy PLUS we sat behind Stephen Baldwin so I could pretend that Alec Baldwin was really looking up to talk to me.

I'm also choosing to believe that Donald Glover and I locked eyes and sometime soon we're going to be great friends.  Yup.

Cheyenne Jackson warmed up the crowd by singing "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," and at that point I fell in love.  He looks a MILLION times better in real life and I'm pretty sure Stephen Baldwin thought I was having a stroke because my mouth was open for a solid three minutes.  Also, Cheyenne Jackson looks extremely attractive on TV so just let that simmer.

I hope you enjoyed the episode because I laughed my ass off.  I need them to do this again next week so Donald Glover and I can take the next steps to getting to know each other.  Make it happen, Tina Fey.

Here's John Mayer's New Video...And a Continuation of My Plea

John Mayer premiered his video for "Shadow Days" today, and we're going to have to have another talk. LISTEN.  This song is nice.  It's a good "hey I know you thought I was a douche, but give me another chance" comeback song.  BUT THEN YOU GO ON AND LOOK THE WAY THAT YOU DO.

THIS IS NOT A LOOK.

WE TALKED ABOUT THIS.  Looking like you're going to murder people and then plant a cornfield over their bodies is NO WAY to start your comeback.  We need classic "Your Body Is a Wonderland" John.  We love that John.  

Because I am a fan until you really do murder someone (even then I'd prob still get excited to see how that effects your lyrics), I still love it.  I'm just saying that maybe, for the next video, cut the hair?  Maybe?  Please?

Appearances aside, I really do like the wanderer, trying to find yourself vibe of the video.  Well done! (ish)

Also, I'm told that you too were at 30 Rock's live episode, but that you were not there at the same time as me.  Rude, sir!  We could have been friends slash I would have pretended that I had no idea who you were and then you would have thought HOW REFRESHING and then you would have said hey let's go get drinks and I would have said mmm I mean sure?  And then we would have fallen in love.  But you were rude and got there at a different time and this scenario THAT I HAVE NOT HAD PLANNED OUT did not take place.  Le sigh.

Tonight I'm Going to the Live Episode of 30 Rock

My friend Brian really likes to hook me up with the celebs.  He made me famous AND got Urkel to fall in love with me.  Now he got me tickets to see tonight's live episode of 30 Rock.  I CANNOT explain to you how excited I am for this.  CAN. NOT. I've seen every episode at least 15 times (I would be exaggerating, but I have that whole can't-sleep-at-night-Netflix-addiction thing going on).  Kate is coming with me and we couldn't be more excited.  While I can even let myself think about seeing Tina Fey in person (yup, read Bossypants three times), I WILL let my imagination wander to who the guest stars will be.  Last time they had Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jon Hamm (!), Matt Damon, and prob others I'm forgetting.  Sooo read the list I'm thinking/hoping they'll have this time after the jump.

Usher Just Dropped a Contender for the Song of the Summer

Usher's new song "Scream" came out today and I'm pretty sure it has a good shot for being the Song of the Summer (said in a booming voice).  Take a listen, tell me what you think.  I lovvvvvvve, I can't wait for his new album.
